Co-Authored by Wilson, the Pug, The

of wisdom, the Tao Te Ching. It features 81 photos with corresponding
quotes from the Tao Te Ching and Wilson's "own" interpretations.
Here's what they're saying...
"Wow, my hat’s off to you, Wilson the Pug! Who’d ever
think a Pug could write a book. THE TAO OF PUG is funny and wise. You
do a Pug proud!" -Frank the Pug, from the movie MEN IN BLACK II
"You don’t have to be a Pug to love Wilson the Pug and his
very funny book, THE TAO OF PUG. Milo loved it too!" -Otis the
Pug, from the movie THE ADVENTURES OF MILO AND OTIS
Pug's
Hugs.
Very sweet phonics reader that captures the essence of the affectionate
pug. Written by Margaret Allen illustrated by Keiko Motoyama

Pugs are
funny, affectionate, and endearingly odd, and to love one is to be under
its spell. Pug owners are passionate, and have even been known to express
their devotion in love songs and poetry-and Woodleigh Marx Hubbard is
no exception! She is, in her own words, "besotted" with her
pug, Oliver Wink.
Perfect
for pug aficionados and dog lovers everywhere, her whimsical tribute
to pugs captures their exuberance, as her energetic illustrations celebrate
and applaud the many colorful sides of this truly unique little dog [book description from Amazon.com].
Still
Life in Crete takes its readers into the eastern Mediterranean for an
experience of Greece's biggest and most idiosyncratic island. Geographically,
Crete is the last place in Europe. It has kept its essentially Cretan
character and is an infinitely more interesting place than those much
written about French and Italian ports-of-call, Provence and Tuscany.
The
book tells how the author and his wife face up to the shock of his unduly
early retirement and decide to seek a new life abroad. Accompanied
by their two pug dogs, the adventurous couple explore Greece
and fall in love with the country. Eventually they discover an unspoilt
corner of western Crete to call their own.
Celebrity pet photographer Jim Dratfield has compiled a witty album
of pug shots, matched with timeless quotations and witty captions from
"Litter Pug" and "Pugnacious" to "Pugs and Kisses"
and "Sex, Pugs, and Rock and Roll." Cute costumes and whimsical
props and settings capture the roguish essence of the pug in a wealth
of clever settings, making Pug Shots the definitive homage to a dog that
almost defies description--and can't be resisted by dog lovers of any
age. Also see Pug
Shots Deluxe Notecards and PugShots 2004 Calendar.
An
outstanding comprehensive work that provides the educational tools necessary
to ahelp owners and their dogs adapt quickly to vision problems with minimal
stress.
Acclaimed columnist Margo Kaufman fell in love
with pugs when she was nineteen. But none of her previous pets could compare with Clara, a
glossy black, twelve-pound package of pug charm and pugnacity with the face of an imp, the
heart of a ham, the seductive skills of a slut, and the deductive gifts of a genius. It
didn't take long for Clara to let her new pug parents know who was ruling their California
household--whether she's sipping Evian from a cut-crystal bowl at Saks, or performing a
star turn on PrimeTime Live. Filled with the author's trademark wit and dry observations, Clara, The
Early Years: The Story of the Pug Who Ruled My Life is the hilarious and
heartwarming story of the unforgettable pug. Hardcover

who are considering adding a specific breed of dog to their family.
The book includes chapters on Ariving Home, Early Lessons, Caring For

Is a Pug
the Right Dog for You?
Have you
considered buying or adopting a dog but aren't sure where to begin? Are you intimidated
and confused by the hundreds of dog breeds from which to choose? Do you know how to
properly bathe, groom, feed, and care for your new puppy or dog once you've gotten it
home?
if you're
still uncertain whether a Pug is the perfect dog for you, Daniel Tortora's book, The Right
Dog for You leads you step by step through a very detailed personality
questionnaire, narrowing the list of dogs as you go, to find the ideal match for your
personality, lifestyle and activity level. Tortora also includes the negative information
along with the positive. Hopefully, if more people research the breeds to find one that
will be a more perfect soulmate than just going on curb appeal or popularity, then there
will be fewer animals in shelters and pounds. Caveat: Some critics found this book
in need of an update, as there are several breeds who need to be included, but aside from
that, this is the most extensive and helpful book anyone could have in choosing the right
dog for your personality and lifestyle. Use it in conjunction with Chris
Walkowicz' "The Perfect Match: a Dog Buyer's Guide" to cover the breeds not
included in Tortora's book.
If you're looking for the inside
track on finding the right breed and (even more important)the right breeder, you must read
this Your
Purebred Puppy : A Buyers Guide. It's an excellent reference for anyone who
is considering the purchase of a dog! Author Michele Lowell provides a wealth of
information about all of the popular dog breeds, as well as some of the more rare. The
book covers both positive and negative aspects of each breed, as well as possible health
problems to look for when talking to a breeder.
The Perfect Match : A Dog Buyer's Guide
presents nearly 150 breeds with a full photo for each and a complete checklist
including personality and physical characteristics, as well as both positive and negative
attributes. Never before has there been the depth of truth and authority that is given
here, highlighting each breed's unique qualities along with a look at who should not own
the breed. Author Chris Walkowicz clearly went out and found correct information about
breed personalities of the rarer breeds
Photos.
Dogs for Dummies
should be required reading for anyone considering purchasing or adopting
a dog. In this comprehensive, yet concise and entertaining book, author
Gina Spadafori, pet care columnist for Universal Press Syndicate and
host of AOL's "Gina Spadafori's Pet Connection," makes a strong
case for researching breeds and considering how certain types of dogs
will or won't fit an owner's lifestyle.Dogs for Dummies offers a complete,
humorous reference to the dogs, from choosing a puppy to caring for
an older dog, from selecting a kennel to traveling with a dog, from
obedience school to shows at Madison Square Gardens.

technique originted by Linda Tellington-Jones is a therapeutic massage technique for
reducing tension and changing behavior in dogs. It is designed to help you deepen your
relationship with your dog. Tellington-Jones is a horse trainer and competitive rider who
developed a method of circular touches to enhance traditional training methods and
complement medical treatments. The techniques demonstrated in Dogs &
Puppies are based on a similar set of body awareness exercises for humans developed by
Moshe Feldnekrais; the principle is that the exercises interrupt unacceptable behavior
patterns and responses and allow acceptable patterns to develop. Today, as non-traditional
medicine gets a workout, the TTouch is gaining acceptance.
