Little Angels Pug Rescue (LAPR) was founded in 1992 in Pasadena, Ca.  Our mission is to make sure we are there for every Pug who needs us and to do our best to find them the most appropriate and loving home.

LAPR rescues 10 to 15 Pugs per month.  We generally care for about 30 Pugs per month who  are available for adoption, in addition to another 35-40 Pugs who will stay with us for the rest of their lives because they are elderly or ill and not good candidates for adoption. We have  had as many as 90 Pugs at one time (during the El Nino rains of 1997-1998). 

We are a non-profit, all-volunteer organization with full IRS tax-exempt status.
